As Shredder and his evil henchmen spread their dark shadow across New York City, doubt is cast over the future of the big apple, with everyone from the police to politicians rendered useless. Meanwhile, deep down in the sewers, four ninja turtles with a passion for pizza are being trained for greatness by their mighty master, Splinter.
The awesome-foursome form an unlikely alliance with an ambitious news reporter, April O'Neil, and together with her wise-cracking cameraman, they hatch a plan to claim their city back from the clutches of Shredder and his vile henchmen.
2014 not also marks the welcome return of the Ninja Turtles to our cinema screens, but 30 years since they made their comic-book debut in 1984.
Michael Bay is proud to present this action-packed reimaging of the popular franchise, and stars Megan Fox (Transformers, Jennifer's Body) as April O'Neil, Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost, Sister Act) and the voice talent of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie).
