Come along and make a beautiful handmade felt cushion cover in colours to suit your home! 

You will use soft merino fibres over a resist (to form the shape) and learn the wet-felting method from Emma, our expert felt-maker

Details can be added using silk threads, wool knepps, slubbs and burrs, Wensleydale fibres and sparkly Angelina (all provided for you on the day). If you have any decorative threads, fine plain or printed chiffon or silks these can be incorporated into your design too! Even knitting threads can be used to add further detail and Emma will show you how to add these by needle-felting onto the cushion cover

The felt cushion cover will fit a 38cm x 38cm cushion pad (or a 41cm x 41cm one if you like your cushions to be very plump!)

Have  think before the day as to the colours and designs you might like to try. Please bring a large old towel and a pair of sharp scissors on the day. All materials will be provided (as will teas and coffees) but please bring a packed lunch with you
