DESCRIPTION:Come and experience the worldwide phenomenon that is a Gothic gathering in Whitby!Join the Gothic gathering in Whitby dressed in your finery and express yourself without fear or reprise! The Whitby Goth Weekend Fringe Festival is made up of a great variety of events.During the day there is The Gothic Alternative Market at:The Metropole Hotel\, The Leisure Centre\, The Rifle Club and The Coliseum as well as an Alternative gothic art display\, Photo Studio and outdoor catering.Other Traders will be downstairs at the new Bram Stokers Film FestivalThe night events take place all over Whitby.The Metropole hotel has a charity night on Thursday 27th\, 2 Band nights on Friday and Saturday with 6 Gothic bands playing (Ghostfire are the first confirmed)Also the famous and much loved Sexy Sunday and Manic Monday.The Rifle Club has a steam punk and Victorian event with comedy and bands to suit\, as well as unique trade stalls.Downstairs Anna Hicks will bring us another unique art display.A New Venue to be announce soon will kick of with - "Charnel House" Goth night on Friday and a "committed" fancy dress party night on Saturday.The Resolution Hotel hosts Darklands on Friday and Saturday nights80s Night at the Resolution Cellar Bar Thursday nightHorror punk night at the Resolution Cellar Bar Saturday nightGothic mash up at The Resolution Friday and Saturday nightsEnglish Heritage will be doing Gothic Ghost walks up at the AbbeyAll Weekend the new "Bram Stokers Film Festival" is taking placeOpen during the day to freely walk round and watch some great films for "FREE"Saturday is the "Vampires Ball" is a night of Gothic elegance and decadence which is not to be confused with a costume party we are warned - No Jeans No T Shirts - More events to be confirmed....\n______________________________\nThis Event Downloaded From a Helios Calendar Powered Site
