The Cawthorn Conundrum

Cawthorn is one of Britain's most intriguing Roman sites. This wheelchair friendly 1 mile walk attempts to unravel the mystery behind these Roman 'camps' which have puzzled archaeologists for so long. There are also wonderful views of the Tabular Hills escarpment and the moorland beyond.
