A rare opportunity to hear two international musicians of Russian origin performing together.  One of the finest cellists of his generation, Leonid Gorokhov often returns to his roots to perform in his home city of St Petersburg.  Apart from his work as a soloist, he is a founder member of the Hermitage String Trio with whom Demidenko sometimes plays to form a piano quartet.

As a soloist, Nikolai Demidenko has established himself as a celebrated piano virtuoso, where his blend of technical brilliance and musical vision have earned him consistently outstanding reviews.
