The North Yorkshire Open Studios event is the perfect opportunity to discover some of the fantastic contemporary artists and craftspeople who have decided to make this beautiful region their home. Visit artists' studios in Whitby and throughout North Yorkshire.

Much of the adventure lies in tracking down the studios using the helpful maps and guides which are available free from Art Connections, or online at www.nyos.org.uk. Artists and makers across the region will invite you into a host of intriguing studio spaces – with works on show ranging from stained glass, jewellery and sculpture, to paintings and pottery … and styles ranging from contemporary to traditional to quirky there really will be something to inspire everybody.

The event runs across two weekends in June, Fri-Sun 10/11/12 & Sat-Sun18/19, with studios opening from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
