Description
50 Miles. 2 Days. On Foot. Follow the Seagulls North Yorkshire is a 2 day, long distance, self-supported walk set up to beat brain cancer. It's your chance to do something truly challenging to help 60,000 people in the UK who are afraid and alone because of their brain tumour diagnosis. Starting and finishing in Whitby, North Yorkshire, you’ll see breath-taking scenery of moorland, ancient monuments and waterfalls, as well as stunning coastal views of smuggler coves including Staithes and Robin Hood’s Bay, along sections of the Cleveland Way National Trail. Although we’ll all get together for set-off on both days, and meet up at various points over the weekend such as dinner together on the first night, we expect you to step into the role of navigator on this self-supported walk. Of course there’ll be trails to stick to, but at some points you’ll have to consult your map which will be provided to navigate your way around. To top it off, you will be presented with a finishers’ medal as you complete this epic 50 mile challenge! Become a brainstrust superhero today.
