Dark Skies

Sutton Bank is a great place to star gaze. In fact, it's one of the best! In recognition of its low levels of light pollution, clear horizons and good public access, it is now a 'Dark Sky Discovery site'. Join York Astronomy Club for some star gazing as they look at the night skies. Illustrated talks will take place in the centre tearooms. Bring your own telescope if you wish and advice will be given on how to use it. Please note: Children under 8 may not be able to see through the telescopes
