Badapple Theatre Company present 'Lights Out Land Girls'
The team behind the hit show 'Back to the Land Girls' are back with an hilarious new comedy sequel, 'Lights Out Land Girls'.
Join our Land Army heroines Buff and Biddy for the last wartime summer of 1945 where, in the long working days of the farm, everything and nothing has changed.
Buff has the chance of romance, but it is complicated, and if she follows her heart will she be able to stay in the village?
Biddy has her big chance to be 'just like Vera Lynn' if she can make it to the Tower Ballroom singing showcase in Blackpool, but life just seems to keep getting in the way.
Enjoy more comic scrapes and tall tales as the two girls come to terms with life after the Land Army.
Written and directed by Kate Bramley(Ex-Hull Truck Theatre)with original songs and music by Jez Lowe (SONY Radio Academy Award Winner/BBC Radio 2 Radio Ballads). Design by Charlie Cridlan.
This tour is kindly supported by funding from The National Lottery from Arts Council England, Yorkshire.
