Wednesday 5 March – Tuesday 1April
A passionate advocate of old cameras and lenses, photographer Charles Twist takes a subtle look at the high moors in a fascinating series of prints that blur the notion of time. Photographed using Victorian techniques and equipment, and shorn of contemporary cues, the sepia-coloured images depict a timeless, sea-like, open moorland of distant horizons and hills that roll like waves – with the exhibition title a deliberate echo of Debussy's 'La Mer'.
