A 21st Centuary Tale of Teenage Angst
Oddsock's riotous, but family-friendly production of Hamlet – the Comedy finds the young student prince returning home for Christmas to discover there's something rotten in the state of Denmark and it's not just his dirty washing! Mum's married Uncle Claudius and his dead Dad only puts in a ghost appearance – it's enough to make a teenager mad. Things will never be the same again in the Hamlet household but as this is Oddsocks it will all be sorted out in raunchy, rebellious and rumbustious fashion !
Just like their sell-out "Romeo & Juliet" be prepared for Shakespeare with belly laughs, singing, dancing and some rocking music by Rob Harris, lead guitarist with Jamiroquai!
As seen on TV, Ruth Watson presenter of Channel 4's Country House Rescue said, "The Oddsocks company's charm, good humour and outrageous brio captures the audience and keeps it riveted from start to triumphant finish."
"…haven't laughed so much in ages. 3 generations of family all loved it. Can't wait for the next one…" Jacqui in Whitehaven!
