In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn how to make beautiful crochet necklaces and bracelets! These use very basic crochet stitches, including chain, double crochet and treble crochet

You will need to bring Perle cotton thread and beads or buttons in a colour of your choice (the Rags and Patchesshop on Leading Post Street, Scarborough - near the market - has a good choice of Perle cotton yarn) and one ball should be enough to make a necklace

The beads and buttons need to have holes of a sufficient diameter to pass the thread through in either a single thread or folded loop. You can choose thicker yarn if desired but keep in mind it needs to be able to pass through the holes of your buttons/beads

If using perle cotton you will need to bring along a 1.5 or 2mm hook to use. If using a thicker yarn a 3 or 4mm hook will be needed
