This fascinating one-day workshop is intended to help printers, book/antique dealers plus anyone wishing to work on personal books as a hobby

We will look at the basic structure of the book and some methods of holding the paper together with a view to binding it into a cover, making up prepared basic book structures and also a 'Slip Case'. This will be a practical session and you will also get a full typed out "How To" guide to add personal notes and take away at the end of the day

We would also encourage each person to bring along at least one book for Phil to discuss methods of repair, re bind or new binds

On the day you will make a single-section notebook, a multi-section notebook and a slip case

Teas and coffees provided but please bring along a packed lunch
