David and Mark Schultz are two brothers who enjoyed a hugely successful career together in competitive wrestling. They are the only brothers in American history to have won Olympic and World titles, and also have several accolades individually.

When the brothers' partner with a millionaire sponsor named John Du Pont, they can't believe their luck and are ready to take their flourishing career to the next level. Du Pont becomes more than just a sponsor, acting as the brother's coach and mentor, but things soon turn sour.
