Emma has prepared another brand new workshop where you will learn how to make a beautiful, yet practical, felt cover for your ipad or kindle! 

Using the finest merino fibres you will lay out fine layers of fibres over a resist, and you will be shown how to add detail using bits of old lace or any chiffon or printed silk you might want to incorporate into your finished product (which you would need to bring with you). Then using the wet-felt method the covers will be formed for your ipad or kindle to ensure a snug fit. Buttons can be sewn on afterwards plus fastener to keep safely closed when not in use

All the materials and equipment will be provided on the day, but if you have any threads you would like to incorporate then bring them along with you, also please bring an old towel and a sharp pair of scissors with you

As usual, with this being a full day workshop, please also bring a packed lunch
