Alvin, Simon and Theodore are initially happy to meet their owner Dave’s new girlfriend, Samantha. After all, she seems perfect and if things work out, they get to inherit a stepbrother.
Enter Miles: the stepbrother from hell.
When they believe that Dave is going to propose to Samantha on a romantic trip to Miami, the boys formulate a plot to halt their plans, thus preventing a life of misery at the hands of the horribly obnoxious Miles.
With just three days to prevent the proposal taking place, the fun-loving trio can’t help but get distracted by the bright lights of the Miami party scene. Is this the beginning of the end for Alvin, Simon and Theodore?
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip is the fourth film in the hugely successful franchise, which to date has taken over $1bn at the global box office.
Kids can expect laughs a-plenty, as well as an addictively upbeat soundtrack, including the Chipmunks’ take on ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Baby Got Back’.
The live action is mixed up with some seriously slick animation, featuring the voice talents of Christina Applegate (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy), Anna Faris (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Justin Long (Walking with Dinosaurs).
