Po is back for another bout of Kung Fu Panda related antics, straying further away from the Valley Of Peace and his adoptive father’s noodle shop, to find his biological panda father.
Reuniting with his true Dad, their journey takes them to a secret sanctuary of pandas. Unfortunately, for Po, he learns that it’s incredibly different for him to fit in with the majority of other pandas there.
However, overly friendly Mei Mei is just the opposite; promised to Po through the ancient tradition of arranged marriages when they were young.
Beyond the secret panda sanctuary, an evil spirit named Kai is on the rampage within China, stealing the souls of dead Kung Fu masters in order to grow his own strength and wreak havoc.
To combat this new threat more powerful than anything or anyone Po has faced before he must train a host of clumsy pandas into a fighting force, as the future of the country hangs in the balance.Funny man Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda 2, Bernie) reprises the lead role of Po, while the film sees Bryan Cranston (Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, Godzilla) take up the role of Po’s father, Li, and Kate Hudson (Nine, Bride Wars) star as Mei Mei.
