The Galleons are very excited to be playing in this beautiful part of the country promoting there new album The Hidden Colour.
They've gathered some of the best local talent to help make the night one to remember.
Brighton’s innovative indie-folk sextet The Galleons return with their third album ‘The Hidden Colour’, recorded in the Brecon Beacons by award winning engineer and producer Martin Levan (John Martyn, Iron Maiden, June Tabor). The Galleons have continued to build on their melodic indie-folk beginnings to create a sound that in the words of Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) is “bigger and greater than the sum of its parts”.
While staying true to the idea that simple songs and catchy melodies are at the core of the band’s music, they have added fresh elements and explored new sonic depths. Interesting new textures and inventive approaches to arrangement and composition have added further complexity and power, whilst remembering that moments of calm hold an equally important part of the balance.
The band features Fylingthorpe's very own Will Barber on drums, returning once more to grace the Coliseum stage!

Jack Hogarth
A graduate of Leeds College of Music, Jack Hogarth is equally accomplished as a guitar player, singer and songwriter. Having spent most of his career developing his skills as a sideman, Jack is able to approach his own song writing with a level of experience and maturity not always heard in young singer songwriters. Understated, yet infectious hooks combined with elements of Jazz and Folk are the foundation for a set of songs that will get stuck in your head without you even realising.
it’s easy to see why Jack describes the great John Martyn as one of his big influences. Jack’s solo performances are still rare so if you get the opportunity to go and see him, make it happen.
