Tuppenny Blue are a Five-Piece band playing catchy accessible and original songs as written by their vocalist/guitarist/Ukulele wielding front man Simon Allum.

Simon’s songs have been described “Absolutely Beautiful” (BBC Introducing), “Elegant and Quirky” (THE LINK magazine) and “Highly Original” (Real Whitby).

The band are all seasoned performers with Mark Wakefield on Saxophone, Jim Smith on Guitar/ backing vocals/ Harmonica, Pete Brown on Bass, and Marshall Dixon on Drums.

Their music has universal appeal being a combination of Pop/Jazz/Folk.

Expect quirky ballads about Love/ Books/ Transylvanians/ Muhammad Ali /and the goings on in the various pubs of Whitby town.
