The Bilsdlae SIlver Band is 30 members strong and was started in the mid 1800s. The band is neither a competition or marching band but play for general public enjoyment throughout the year and across the area in some stunning settings. At home the band supports the local community playing at occasional church services, and at the traditional village shows and fetes, giving an annual Christmas Concert in Chop Gate village.
