Esk Valley Community Energy Group invite you to attend one of our two events to launch our share issue for £320,000 in Esk Energy (Yorkshire) Limited to fund our Whitby Esk Energy project.

20th July, 7.30 pm, Whitby Museum, Pannett Park, Whitby, YO21 1RE

and

30th July, 2.00 pm, The Moors Centre, Lodge Lane, Danby, YO21 2NB

The funds raised by the share issue will be used to install a 50kw hydroelectric turbine, using a 'fish friendly' Archimedes screw, on the River Esk at Ruswarp, near Whitby.

The aims of the project are twofold:

• To produce 'green' energy thereby reducing carbon emissions.
• To produce a regular income to finance continuing carbon reducing projects.

Please show your support for our project by attending one of these events.

Shares will be available in this exciting project for as little as £250 (up to a maximum of £20,000).

Buying shares is an ideal way to act locally to offset carbon emissions and help promote renewable energy.
